Uppsala Konsert & Kongress has won several prizes and has been nominated in multiple architectural competitions.

UNT Urban Environment Prize 2008

In November 2008, Upsala Nya Tidning allocated its Urban Environment Award for the fourth time. The opinion of the jury was that there were no other candidates that came close to the winner:  Uppsala Konsert & Kongress.

Stora samhällsbyggarpriset 2008 (Large Community Building Award 2008)

In May 2008, Uppsala Konsert & Kongress won first prize in the Swedish architectural awards “Stora samhällsbyggarpriset”. The award was bestowed upon “a construction company or facility of high quality, created through exemplary interaction between the various actors in the community building process.”

Helgjutet 2008 (Full Cast 2008)

In April 2008, Uppsala Konsert & Kongress was awarded the Helgjutet award by Svenska Fabriksbetongföreningens (Swedish Cement and Concrete Research Institute)  for construction work in cast concrete.

Bienal Miami+Beach 2007

A gold medal for Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and Henning Larsen Architects in the competition for public buildings over 10,000 square feet at the biennial Miami+Beach 2007.  The biennial was hosted during the ‘Celebrating Architecture in Miami Beach’ week in November 2007, bringing architects from around the world together.
