In 2011, the UKK restaurant became the first in Uppsala to be awarded the environmental Nordic Swan Ecolabel certification and from December 2015, the Swan certification also applies to UKK conference operations.
This means that Uppsala Konsert & Kongress lives up to the tough new criteria set for Swan label certification for restaurants, hotels and conference facilities.
The Swan certification imposes strict environmental, health and quality requirements on products and services. The team at UKK has reviewed our production, work processes, procurement and ingredients in order to both meet the certification requirements, but more importantly to demonstrate that we take environmental issues very seriously.
