Friends of Music Hall
In 1988 the Friends of Music Hall Association was established as part of the quest of the city of Uppsala to build a concert hall and congress venue. Friends of Music Hall has implemented different measures to create opinion and find opportunities to realise the vision.
Supporting the concert hall and musical life in Uppsala
Friends of Music Hall is a charitable, impartial association that was founded in 1988 as part of the quest of the city of Uppsala to build a concert hall. Friends of Music Hall has implemented many different measures to realise the vision of a concert hall.
Friends of Music Hall contributes financial support to the concert activities of Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and to Music in Uppland, as well as donating annual scholarships to young musicians. In 2007, Friends of Music Hall donated a fund-raising concert to UKK through its charitable fund.

As a member of Friends of Music Hall you will support musical life in Uppsala. Membership includes a 25 per cent discount on several of the shows organised by Uppsala Konsert & Kongress (certain concerts are excluded – contact the ticket office for more information), 20 per cent discount on pop-up packages and concert + dinner packages ordered at checkout in connection with ticket purchases. As a member you will also receive invitations to the programmes of Friends of Music Hall , arranged in connection with annual meetings and scholarship award events.
