The Music in Uppland Foundation

Music in Uppland  is the county music organisation in Uppsala County and has the regional council as its principal. It produces around 500 concerts a year with its own musicians, the Linnaeus Quintet, Uppsala Chamber Soloists, Trio X and the Uppsala Chamber Orchestra, as well as a large number of session musicians.

Music in Uppland is a tenant of Uppsala Konsert & Kongress and organises orchestral series here, as well as chamber music, jazz music and folk music concerts. Otherwise the focus is on touring concerts, school and family concerts and collaborating with and supporting music associations and other institutions.
