I verket All Eyes syns närbilder av flera hundra Uppsalabor, som alla tittar på oss med en gemensam fråga: Vad innebär framtiden för oss? Samtidigt betraktar de båda husen nyfiket varandra, som om de ser varandra för första gången.

Digital konst i regionen

Verket är skapat av videodesignern Johannes Ferm Winkler och konstnären Peder Bjurman som en del av festivalens satsning på digital konst i regionen. Konst som kopplar samman festivalen, Uppsalas institutioner och invånare från hela regionen.

Om konstnärerna

Johannes Ferm Winkler har arbetat med scenkonst, som VJ och med monumentalprojektioner på de flesta teatrar och operahus i Sverige, bland annat på Dramaten, Operan, Cirkus Cirkör och Orionteatern och internationellt bland annat i USA.

Peder Bjurman, som också är konstnärlig ledare för Otherworldly, är också internationellt verksam som regissör och manusförfattare och visade videoverket The Air Loom på förra årets festival. Under årets festival visas även hans verk Slow Walker på UKK.

Upplev verket

Verket kan ses från Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, våning 6, från Uppsala konstmuseum och från olika håll i staden. Verket visas under följande tider:

• Fredag 20 oktober, 18.00–23.00
• Lördag 21 oktober, 18.00–23.00. Observera att du under lördagen behöver biljett till Otherworldly för att besöka UKK och ta del av festivalens alla programpunkter. Köp biljetten här.

All Eyes presenteras av Uppsala Konsert & Kongress i samarbete med Uppsala konstmuseum, Knivsta kommun, Tierps kommun, Gottsunda kulturhus/Uppsala kommun och med stöd av Kulturrådet/Regional Utveckling.

Otherworldly: All Eyes – Peder Bjurman & Johannes Ferm Winkler

All Eyes is a large scale projection on the facades of the two local institutions Uppsala konstmuseum (art museum) in Uppsala Castle and Uppsala Konsert & Kongress (concert and congress hall). It is shown during the Otherworldly festival, October 20–21.

Hundreds of close-ups of local people from all around Uppsala look at us with a common question; What does the future hold for us? And at the same time, the buildings themselves are looking at us and at each other, as if for the first time.

Regional digital art project

In this first step of a regional digital art project, the artists Johannes Ferm Winkler and Peder Bjurman are connecting the institutions, the city, and the inhabitants surrounding it. At the core of it.

About the artists

Johannes Ferm Winkler has designed video projections for all major theaters in Sweden such as Cirkus Cirkör, The Royal Opera, The Royal Dramatic Theatre and Orionteatern, as well as internationally.

Peder Bjurman, also artistic director of the festival, mainly works internationally as writer and director. His work Slow Walker is also on display during Otherworldly 2023.

The artwork can be seen from Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, floor 6, from Uppsala konstmuseum, and from the city. You can see the artwork at the following times:

• Friday, October 20, 6.00–11.00 PM
