About the festival

The Otherworldly festival is a speculative vision of the future, a hypothetical view seen through music and art. It is a hybrid festival mixing ideas and expressions that lets them mutate and breed. The festival is headed and curated by artistic director Peder Bjurman, artist and writer, and Christian Hutchinson Berg, composer and musician.

Otherworldly took place for the first time in November 2022 at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, featuring artists such as Blixa Bargeld, Alva Noto, and Abul Mogard.
